Before you write
- Where do the batches live?
- On the device. A set you log is part of the ledger on that iPhone. Hatchery Journal does not take the record onto a server.
- Why is the finish an estimate?
- Cycle length follows the bird. The projected hatch stays marked as an estimate, and the chicken window is the approximate 21 days.
- How do I correct a set?
- Open the record from History to edit or delete it. On a full set card you can change the name, species, egg count, planned days, temperature, humidity, note, and set time. Save stays quiet until every required value is valid.
- What if the period is empty?
- The count says so. An empty span does not draw a zeroed graph.
